What is our Zero Waste Initiative?

It has been estimated that around 2,500 tonnes of unwanted CDs are being thrown away every year. Because of the added complexity of recycling CD ROMs, CDRs, and DVDs, few regions offer this type of recycling programs.

To help combat this problem we have switched all of our software distribution from solid media to direct digital download. We prefer only to print CDs for our users who lack an appropriate internet connection or who specifically require solid media.
